In ThePay, you will also find the Integration tab which contains all the important information for configuring the integrated payment gateway correctly. To do so, you will need the project ID, merchant ID and password. You should generate the password by clicking Generate new password. As the password will be displayed for security reasons only once and will not be accessible again, it is very important that you copy it. If, for some reason, you lose the password and generate a new one, bear in mind that the previous password will continue to work for 30 minutes after that. During that time you should change the password everywhere it was entered by the IT specialist, otherwise the payment gateway will stop working after that time.
Use the data to run the payment gateway. The data, however, can be used only where the payment gateway has successfully been integrated. If you are unsure where to enter the data, contact your IT specialist for assistance.
The next important step to be taken is to list your server IP address for API access. To do so, click Add IP address.
Without taking these steps, the payment gateway will not work. If you think you have done everything right as described above but the payment gateway still does not work, refer to the Gateway integration section. Still not working? Contact us at it@thepay.cz for help.
